He's really discussing Select and Club ball costing a bunch of money, and giving kids the illusion that they will never have to sit the bench.  When they get past HS, they're likely going to have to sit at every level they achieve.  Said since they don't learn that earlier in life, it often leads to kids getting tired of putting in the work and quitting when they get to college and beyond.  Really a pretty good listen.

Alright smart ass I just meant I didn't have time to really finish my thoughts 😉. Like the video said kids don't learn how to work anymore, also their mommy and daddy tell them how great they are and nobody learns how to be a ball player. The dirt bag aspect of it has been lost.

And think about it, who do we still celebrate to this day... Billy Bates in 1983, David Maroul in 05, the Chance Wheeless home run vs Baylor in 05 with a seperated shoulder, Austin Wood 169 pitch performance, those things don't happen anymore cause these fukking kids don't know how to compete.

And now if they ain't a "starter" they just go start another team with their sewing circle of other kids parents that don't know how to fukking work. We are raising a generation of pu $$ies and it is showing in the game.
