And Texas is not included. Browning lists Ohio State, Michigan, Florida State, TCU, Alabama, and UCLA.

I suspect if we don't turn a corner soon, it will be more guys than just Browning who cut us out of potential landing spots.

Cmon Chuck

This is a big blow in my mind. Browning was one of the guys out there that liked Texas enough as a school to commit even with talk of Charlie's job. I can understand him not picking them, but cutting them before decision day is revealing. I reached out to Browning for comment, and he told me he'd get back to me after his playoff game tonight.

*sigh* it'll be nice to get back to winning 10+ on a yearly basis and not have worry about crap like losing top players in the state to tOSU, bama', ect. It's gonna' really stink when we don't land 1 of Browning, Hines, and Moses. Don't be surprised if Wilson and Little end up getting away to. Whatever the decision going forward is needs to be done and said the minute TCU game is over, this can't be drug out like with Mack.

This leads me inquire; even if we keep Charlie, how much would it actually help recruiting at this point?

This just depressed me. Sitting up here in Lawrence getting ready for the game and then I read this. It's time to crap or get off the pot. Either change coaches or get behind Strong and tell everyone Strong will have every opportunity to finish what he started.

If he is really trending to Bama' then that stinks even more, they already have 3 high rated OLB's committed. Don't want to become another Kendall Sheffield. And wasn't it always said if you get Browning or Moses no way you get the other? And screw Ohio state to, anyone who wants to go to that miserable town and weather then so be it.

CS future as the head coach is too unstable . Texas may lose a few committed players soon.

Our last 2 recruiting classes prove your statement wrong. Very wrong in fact.
These recruits were expecting to win this year as were a lot of people. They gave him the first season just because it was his first. If you don't think winning is the biggest recruiting draw just look at the historical landscape  of college football and maybe you'll get it right next time.
