Bad news on Saban

You must be a blast at parties LOL. It sucks if Saban isnt coming. I wanted UT to hire him, but he's not the only guy out there better than Mack Brown. Far from it. I fully expect Texas to get its ass kicked tomorrow, but separate from that I will believe Mack is on the Texas sidelines next year when I see it. I dont think even Mack would put himself through the $#@!storm and fan revolt if he's back as a lame duck. He also likely would have to hire multiple staff members including possibly both coordinators and some position coaches from reports. Does Mack really want to go though all this bull$#@! for one last year at Texas, having to replace most of his staff, and while having no QB?
I wanted Saban, but make a good hire and people will be fine

Zzzizzzy has stated his sources are still 100% certain Saban is coming. I agree with DizzG that Mack being gone is priority #1. While I'd love to have Saban, I really want Mack gone. I can't stomach another year of "Country Club Football".

Yup. What purpose does it serve for him to come back? Everyone knows he can't and won't "fix it". He wants to come back to take over DKR's record to stroke his own ego, and what's ironic about that, is there is no guarantee he could get enough wins next year to do that.
