I want Saban as much as anyone but at this point I just want UT to get the Baylor game over and hire the best coach avail. There is prob 20 coaches who could come in and win at Texas and be a better choice than Mack right now

You must be a blast at parties LOL. It sucks if Saban isnt coming. I wanted UT to hire him, but he's not the only guy out there better than Mack Brown. Far from it. I fully expect Texas to get its ass kicked tomorrow, but separate from that I will believe Mack is on the Texas sidelines next year when I see it. I dont think even Mack would put himself through the shitstorm and fan revolt if he's back as a lame duck. He also likely would have to hire multiple staff members including possibly both coordinators and some position coaches from reports. Does Mack really want to go though all this bullshit for one last year at Texas, having to replace most of his staff, and while having no QB?

I wanted Saban, but make a good hire and people will be fine
