Anthony Hines Sets Decision Date

Mike, if she promises you a steak dinner . . . it's a set up! lol

Sounds like OU might be getting another LB commit very soon. This will probably be for OU at LB recruiting so HInes most likely won't have a spot at OU. Good news for Texas for sure.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Charlie has orchestrated this whole deal of Hines and Browning announcing on the same day to build momentum down the stretch leading to guys like Wilson and Little. I read that aggy thinks they are in position for Hines but I can't see him going to play with a bunch of no name low 3* defenders and an over rated IMG linebacker who runs a 5.03.

Since SHA posted his thoughts above I don't mind putting this here.

He (SHA) told me months ago we would get both. From his post above his source(s) haven't waivered.

Mike

I have no inside info but if they are going to fill up and not leave room for Hines maybe that tells us something about their lack of confidence in getting him anyway.

I just read that Nov 29th is Baron's dad's birthday and he went to TCU. I hope he's not trying to give Dad a birthday present by comitting to his alma mater.

Seems a bit farfetched to me. If he had already made up his mind to go to TCU, would he really wait 3 months before announcing?

Happens all the time. I'm hoping that it's only because it's a signicant date for the family and makes sense due to him being an EE. I may be over thinking it, but I like where Texas sits especially if they put up 8+ wins on the board.
