Jim Grobe has called it quits after 13 seasons at Wake Forest.

That is the kind of job (if he was interested) I could see Robinson applying for

Did read Wake Forest has interest in Michigan State DC Pat Narduzzi, who had been mentioned as a "candidate" for DC at UT

Grobe's the only coach they had in the modern era with a winning record. He did get them a fluke BCS Bowl bid in '06. It's just too small of a school and doesn't have the resources to really compete in the ACC. They need a hi-speed system offensive coach like a Phil Montgomery, Ron Caragher or Pete Lembo to get the ball in the air and try to catch teams off guard to be successful. Greg Robinson would not be a good hire IMO.
