SMH. Expected nothing different. Even the GIF was no surprise. You can believe what you want. I don’t really care what you think. You don’t know shit about me. I don’t think I’m superior to anyone. I can tell when I’m smart than someone after seeing several statements made by someone. And yeah I’m smart than you. I won’t pretend I’m not and I won’t lie and say well maybe you’re as smart as me. You are not. I don’t ridicule or name call to make a point. I will make my point, then I will call an idiot out for their stupidity. And again I only do it because certain people on here have said things toward me. If you do not want to be called something, don’t call others things. But see you started out your post again insulting me. You could have kept your post free of that, then if I “name called you”, you would have a leg to stand on. You’re talking about jumping to conclusions without due process? So you’re gonna sit up here and pretend you are not doing that? You’re disingenuous if you think that you haven’t done that multiple times on this thread.
Sir government and politics are two different things. Sure you can talk about politics without having a polisci degree but unless you’re studied government, I don’t think you’re as knowledgeable as someone who has studied it and you likely don’t know how certain parts of it are ran unless you’re worked in those parts. I think the right is full of uneducated, mouth breathing, racists who cannot see past their warped view of the world. That’s the problem. Too many old white men clinging on to the good ole days. Fighting progress because they fear a world where there is equality and equity because then they aren’t the ones with a power. But enough with people like you.
Yeah you cannot really agree to disagree about me having issues. Are you a psychiatrist or psychologist? Because you said you worked in energy. If you aren’t you don’t really have the ability to diagnosis me. I know plenty of them. Trust me, I’m fine. And I’m plenty happy. I live a great city, I have someone who love and loves me, we travel when possible to travel, we have a nice savings, we have plenty of stock, we have good jobs, great healthcare, I have plenty of friends (of all races, religions and political parties), I’m smart, well educated, good at sports, above average height.. and I’ve been told by plenty of women that I’m a very attractive man. Damn you know what, maybe my problem isn’t I’m unhappy, I’m just living such a damn good life, I’m too happy, life is so good for me. My fault guys. I will stop exuding that.
Oh and you’ve never tried to talk to me, you try to talk at me all the time. If you’re trying to talk to me, that would require having some respect when coming to me. You’ve never done that. So stupid pretending. I long said there is no changing the views of old people. I will not lie and say I’m trying to talk to you?? Why it’s a lost cause. You and others have proven y’all cannot see or respect where I’m coming from. I have no urge to talk to you. I don’t respect any of y’all. I’m talk at y’all and that’s all it is for me.
Wrong thread, SHA, unless you're linking politics and power. LolWho else was around for the '79'-80 storm? I remember it well.
Most of Dallas lost power due to the 2-3 inches of ice which was underneath a layer of sleet and a layer of snow. Power lines were snapped all over the city.
I was staying with my grandparents back then. We had drove down (my parents and I) for a weekend visit and the storm happened while we were there. So we have no electricity. No heat. Nothing worked. We packed up and went to a cousin's home in Kaufman.
Almost as soon as we got there, we lost power there, too. But we at least had a fireplace and 2-3 cords of wood. We made it through a couple days without power. The roads were too bad to drive home to Daingerfield, where they did have power. On day 3 we took off and made it home. Power was restored just before we left Kaufman.
We cooked over the fireplace. We put blankets up to block off the rest of the house from the living room where the fireplace was. Fun times . . .
No, because liberal "green energy" policies have us in this place right now.Wrong thread, SHA, unless you're linking politics and power. Lol
A lot of people don’t think about it when they’re are screaming Green New Deal, but that crap is not going to work in very extreme conditions and Texas gets alot of extremes. Some states it might be ok, but in Texas we better be ready for anything and people don’t want to be sitting in a 30 degree home because wind turbines frozen up.No, because liberal "green energy" policies have us in this place right now.
Texas, the bastion of energy in the US, not having enough power to sustain its own grid? You have to be kidding me.
How many coal plants have been closed since Obama in Texas? I can think of two in East Texas just off the top of my head.
