What do you think the chances are of another true freshman besides Shackleford making the two-deep at O-Line?

I'd say strong. The line is getting better but it's stil all hands on deck

Question for Mike – We look good at WR. But LJ Humphrey isn't on campus yet. How do they keep him off the field. Kid just makes plays, . almost a clone of Johnson's in size, but with RB running ability.

I think he's a guy you move around and try to isolate him in coverage, but I'm not sure he plays this year. They are just so stacked at the position

I know it's a hard question and kids change their minds with the wind, but it's still fun to speculate.

First I want to say we plan to do a better job on hoops recruiting but it's difficult to find the right person to cover it. From what I know, Allen is still very high on Texas and could be deciding soon. His relationship with assistant Jai Lucas is strong which is why it was important to retain him.

It definitely has the potential. If not top 5, they would be just outside at 6 or 7. The top is poised to blow off this thing if they can win.

We went over this in Burnt Ends. Always some concern when this happens but we've been told he should be fine if he takes care of business

From what we know he intends to stay, but the coaches intend to talk him into switching positions. We will see, but most transfer news will come in the next couple of weeks.

Russell Shepard was a big time qb recruit that chose LSU over Texas. He made the switch to WR and became an NFL WR. Not always a bad thing if the talent is there.
