[Tejas fan]

Any idea when he plans on announcing?

[BevoBlake]

Well it's official, it's not us. We're the only team that he didn't get a "The".

Or the other way around, since he can't sign with both of "the" teams.

He narrowed it down to three teams

Just hope we get him...he's a tremendous football player.  Guys with his talents...we need.

He had better get on board. He would be nice to have, but there are others out there. Some of these kids may be being too smart for their own good.

We were told (as mentioned in Burnt Ends two weeks ago) that there are a number of commits interested in Texas that are watching, waiting to see what Ryan Newsome does.  The term "ripple effect " was mentioned in conjunction with his potential commitment.

If he waits to announce at UA all-star game it will be Tenn. That game is set up for E$PN to showcase $EC commits. 90% of the kids who commit at that game commit to $EC teams and USC/FSU.

"Ripple Effect" or "Pied Piper" effect, whatever you choose to call it. Certain commitments by certain recruits

influence other recruits' decisions. That's just the way it is...I've been watching recruiting for many years.

That's just the way it is...hope it all goes the way of The University of Texas!

I love Ryan Newsome. 1) He's not the normal "look at me" type recruit. 2) He loves making funny of the Aggies. I can see why others would follow him just from seeing his attitude on twitter.
