DT offer Josiah Sharma of Folsom, CA is expected in Austin in the next "two or three weeks," per OTF.

He's been in constant communication with coaches Baker and Nansen, and should also take an official visit this summer.

OTF saying they now expect Sharma to visit this weekend, and they're confident an official visit will happen later in the summer.

This isn't going to work. No home town loyalty. Only moms and dads and scouts in the bleachers.
If there is a will, there is a way.

I think Scouts, coaches and assistants will attend. Might create a whole new breed of talent agents. With NIL involved, this may be a way to lock in a kid from HS thru college and possibly beyond.

The only thing to stand in the way of this are jimbo-like contracts where the kid doesn't pan out and a sponsor or two are out millions.

Does this go a full season?

There are too many questions here. The article never mentioned how many games would be played. What about school? Are early enrollees going to jump from spring practice to this league? There doesn't seem to be any eligibilty parameters.
I hope this fails. If you thought the portal and NIL were Pandora's Box then this is armageddon.

OTF was able to confirm that WR Dakorien Moore of Duncanville will be in Austin for the spring game along with his teammate, QB Keelon Russell.

If the staff intends on offering Russell, there won't be a better time to do it with Moore there to see it.

Moore will be in Austin this week as well for Texas Relays, but no word if he'll have time to stop by the football facility.

Quotes from WR target Andrew Marsh of Katy Jordan after his visit to Texas earlier this week (247):

"Trip to Texas was good just getting back up there and getting to see everybody again," Marsh continued "it was cool getting to kinda shadow for the day like through meetings and practices and getting to talk to everybody and it was a pretty good visit overall."

"Really just getting to see meetings and the meetings with all the receivers where they're learning and just seeing them take it to the field and really put on the field what they learned in practice."

"I really liked the way he (Coach Jackson) was able to break it down in different ways and really make sure everybody understood what they were doing and just being really accommodating to everyone's different learning styles."

"The attention to detail and kinda just the focus to everything and really just getting to meet everybody and seeing how personable everyone is."

"I think they'll be really good if not better than last year, I think they got a lot of work to do but I think they're definitely on pace to do it and really just from the pieces they've acquired and kinda just rebuilding and replacing they look really really good going into next season."

"Really kinda just getting to dive deeper and look into the behind the scenes type of stuff, really just get to know more of the ins and outs of how Texas really flows."

"It's different each time but most of the time it's just getting to know him (Sark) better, how he plans to use me, what they have in store for me, and what they bring to the table just stuff like that."

"I was just talking about this with one of my friends in the aspect of how Ohio State produces receivers. Now with Texas, just them being able to produce and put guys into the league now is definitely something to look at."

"They (Texas) definitely have that home factor for me and I would definitely say just the fact that they can produce and they have a really good team history too."
