I don't think it is a priority issue, why prioritize one side of the field when you can go after whoever you want on both sides?
A few things - there are only so many players rated in the 90s, about 250. Players rated in the 80s are not JAGs either - from the last recruiting class you are talking about guys like - Tyanthony Smith, Daniel Cruz, Jordan Johnson-Rubell, Freddie Dubose, Christian Clark, etc. Also, this staff isn't relying on recruiting rankings and chasing stars, they recruit based on their evaluation.
We will likely land a good number of players ranked in the 90s (12/22 last year) and then a good chunk of guys ranked in the high 80s. Is a guy like Stephon Shivers, ranked 81 right now, a take? Well, he would be lower ranked than anyone we took last year. Could be a guy the staff likes a lot and he'll see his stock rise, or could be a guy they want to keep warm as a back up plan.
