For the third consecutive year, Bookies.com has compiled a list of pregame destinations for SEC member schools. The rankings for these destinations take into account a variety of factors, including:

Location - Is it close to the action and accessible to fans?
Tailgating - Parking availability and enjoy the atmosphere with food and drink
Entertainment Around Stadium - Food and drink scene within walking distance of where you are sitting
Family Sentiment - Is the area safe and entertaining for those that attend games with kids?

Texas tallies in at No. 3 overall.

Full list of rankings can be found below.

I have heard that Arkansas is not a friendly place for visiting tailgaters. So I understand their low ranking.

We ranked above LSU, which has tailgating and game day experience that gets talked about so often. So that was a surprise to me.

Once again, aggy is middle of the pack. lol

LSU has the highest score for tailgating. I have been their briefly prior to a Bama/LSU game and the tailgating was top notch. Looks like they lose a lot of points for location and family sentiment.

Curious how they come up with these numbers. Texas is top notch for entertainment, makes sense given that we have a huge concert before or after each game.

I'd think family sentiment would rank much higher for Texas given that we have an entire carnival set up outside the stadium.

The tailgating scene at Kentucky is actually pretty awesome. Been many times. Outside of the insane basketball blowhards, pretty great and friendly fanbase.
