His arm talent is there. He can make all the throws. I know a lot of people expected him to be a 4 year clipboard carrier but I think he can be much more.

I expect him to be the next Charles Wright with no slight against him. KJ Lacey is still a year away so who knows what could happen.

You may be right, but I doubt it. Hopefully Owens is as good as you think. We need a good backup in case Arch gets hurt.

TFB had an update on CB Kobe Black today, and it sounds like there will be an announcement within two weeks, at which time he would shut his recruitment down during the early signing period.

They added Texas is supposed to get another commitment around the same time - and it's not someone completely on the radar - but they can't confirm an exact date.

Timing suggests it's Black's brother, Korie, with the portal opening on 12/4, but something to keep in mind regardless.

I would guess playing Texas high school football instead of low level Louisiana private school ball. Just a guess though

At 6-5 205 he has the size Apparently he has the arm per stats SHA posted. He plays for a 6A team in the playoffs.Up to this year had 3050 yds. and 34 TDS. If he enroles early might be in the hunt for backup.

Speed and running ability unknown to me.

We always have this infatuation with every new QB signing. We did it with Ewers, Murphy, Manning and now Owens. Only VY and McCoy have lived up to the hype fellas in the last 2 decades. VY hands down my all favorite and probably always will be
