I'm good with that. He may have made a hasty decision the first time and was told to back off and reconsider till he was sure. 

He's a dynamic player and I don't think the staff would have taken him if they thought he would be a problem.

Agreed. Many on here aren't too excited about him, but I will take him.  I did some knucklehead things at his age, but I learned from my mistakes. Hopeful he does as well.

I have watched his tape and the best comp that I can come up with is Desean Hales (Best ever tape). The best Texas recruit WR highlights I have ever seen. The size is right, the speed is right and he has the same moves. We will see how this plays out.

We now have the #18 ranked class in the land. Just a few weeks ago, we were ranked in the 60s.

We passed Tech and OU.

I view him as a lottery ticket, we could hit the jackpot on a great skill player. Or, we could be moving on soon. You don't want to take too many of these guys but a couple on a yearly basis can be worth it.

Lots of people noted that some on this list could commit soon. I totally agree but some of these guys haven't made any indication of that quite yet.

So Roach is adamant that Gipson is going to Clemson and the On3 guys aren't wavering the Texas picks, including Sam Spiegelman who has had a Texas pick in for the longest time and says he still likes it.  Guess we'll see.
