Hamilton at IT mentioned Texas is slipping here in favor of the "dream school" Clemson.

Question right now is if he will follow through with all of the scheduled official visits.

Didn't we hear the same thing last cycle? At one time the pundits were saying Niblett was straying after his commitment. Wasn't Muhammed flirting with Alabama? I love recruiting but sometimes IT loves to waver to keep interest high, imo.

If it came down to ne of the two. I think Bridges would be better for Texas than Hudson. Lots of WRS this year. Not as many 6.3 CBS.

TFB today reiterated their claim that Texas has 10-12 silent commits who will join this class during June. They said in just over 30 days, we'll have those commits.

The secondary haul, they said, will be tops in the country.

Our class will be ranked in the top 10 at that point.

Per IT, the NCAA is expected to increase the number of official visitors each school can host in a recruiting cycle.

The number sits at 56 currently and should be increasing to 70, and the Texas staff is already prepared for that.

IT is "fully expecting" Mater Dei OL Brandon Baker and DeAndre Carter to officially visit Texas in September, or possibly October.

Their high school game schedule points to September 16th or 30th as the dates they can travel to Austin.
