SignUp Now!Hard to tell how high on the board he is and if we will make a big push. I get the feeling the only ones in-state that are for sure right now are Cruz and Sainai.IT saying OL Blake Ivy of League City Clear Springs has his official visit to Texas on June 17th.
He mentioned he may bump that to mid-week of the following week.

A mid-week official is usually a negative sign.Hard to tell how high on the board he is and if we will make a big push. I get the feeling the only ones in-state that are for sure right now are Cruz and Sainai.
On Hampton, the percentages were quite high despite all of the not-so-good news on him up until this point.IT did some predictions on offensive targets today, and the following are guys that had a 50% or higher chance of ending up at Texas as things stand.
RB, Christian Clark, Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ)
RB, Jerrick Gibson, IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)
WR, Aeryn Hampton, Daingerfield
WR, Micah Hudson, Lake Belton
WR, Parker Livingstone, Lucas Lovejoy
TE, Jordan Washington, Houston Langham Creek
OL, Daniel Cruz, Richland
OL, Nyier Daniels, Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ) **one pick of 45%
OL, Makai Saina, Arlington Martin

Hamilton's pick for Hudson was basically 50/50.TFB said today they think Tech leads with Hudson.
Seems to be something going on behind the scenes with the Hudson recruitment. OB is not very confident at all.TFB said today they think Tech leads with Hudson.
All I know is that if I'm a top WR in the country, there are 3 coaches I'm looking to play for: Sark, Riley and Leach. Any other coach/team is distant 4th. Last I checked Leach doesn't coach at TT....someone should let Hudson know that.TFB said today they think Tech leads with Hudson.
Hate to break it to you, but Leach is dead. Maybe we should let Hudson know. lolAll I know is that if I'm a top WR in the country, there are 3 coaches I'm looking to play for: Sark, Riley and Leach. Okay, I realized that after I typed that. That was my mistake.Hate to break it to you, but Leach is dead. Maybe we should let Hudson know. lol
Good point though, just a slight technical error.Okay, I realized that after I typed that. That was my mistake.
I think his father played at Tech.Maybe their pitch to him is you'll be the focal point here vs Texas where you're just another piece on the board. I think I read somewhere that he had family that went to Tech. Other than those 2 reasons, it doesn't make sense to me.
But then again, 17 year olds don't always make the best decisions. I think once he sees the product on the field this year, he will choose the good guys.
Hamilton at IT mentioned Texas is slipping here in favor of the "dream school" Clemson.
