IT reporting Coach Flood stopped by San Marcos on Monday as well to see OL Ory Williams.

LSU is supposedly a big threat to Texas currently with Williams' father and other family members being from that area of the country.

Also mentioned he saw OL Daniel Calhoun (Marietta, GA) yesterday and is seeing OL Nyier Daniels (Oradell, NJ) today.

More on OL Michael Uini from 247...

Roach had a source tell them the most positive reaction to spring game weekend came from Uini, and he's close to putting in a crystal ball for Texas despite the talk that he and Texas aren't necessarily on the same page.

I'm sure Coach Flood got some good info on him when visiting his high school yesterday.

But even if he's trending Texas, I wonder if he's high enough on the staff's board to take right now when firmly in the race for other great OTs.
Hamilton at IT said today Uini is behind other OT targets right now.

IT had a cool story today on five-star OL Brandon Baker and the familly of DE Tausili Akana.

Akana's mother was in the player's lounge before the spring game and noticed that Baker's mother looked Polynesian, so she walked over and started a conversation.

Turns out the ladies are first cousins and the families spent a good portion of the day getting to know each other.

Baker is LDS but won't take a two-year mission, and this newfound relationship should help Texas a lot.

Per IT, Coach Joseph will go see five-star CB Kobe Black of Waco Connally tomorrow.

A HS Coach shared with me that he was watching film on a receiver last year in preparation for a game and their opponent was Connally.
After watching a few plays he noticed KB and ended up focusing on him.
The coach has 20 plus years experience as a HC and DC. He said Black was “the most impressive CB he had ever seen on tape. He’s athleticism and all aspects of his technique were unbelievable.”

He was on campus recently, but I haven't seen that he's a primary target.

He just scheduled an official visit to Texas for June 17th, per IT, and he's being recruited at CB by Coach Davis and Coach Joseph.

“I went to Texas and it was pretty good,” Woodland told On’s Sam Speigelman. “I met with Coach Bo (Davis). It was pretty good and we chopped it up a little bit. I like Texas. It’s different … and really different from Mississippi.”

According to IT, DT D'antre Robinson of Orlando, FL has scheduled his official visit for June 24th.

He joins the other DTs Alex January (Duncanville) and Terrance Hibbler (Lexington, MS) for that big weekend.

Could Robinson/January/Hibbler/Hills be a realistic DL haul?  None are highly rated, but I've said numerous times January is way underrated, and fringe 4*/3* DL from Louisiana like Hills usually end up being pretty good.

It seems like the Oak Ridge DL doesn't like us much.  For some reason he seems all into aggy and OU.

I know I'm not answering your question, but it'd be fun to see what a realistic class looks like if Texas goes into Tuscaloosa and gets the upset.
