Certainly no warm and cozy vibes in that report like after Simmons' official visit to Texas, but six days is an eternity in recruiting. That's not a good sign but hopefully tx lands him

They recruit their needs and have coaching staffs who evaluate talent very well. They do not recruit all 5-stars, skipping over those they are not interested in.Recruiting players that are highly ranked on the rankings sure seems to be working for Bama and Georgia. They have dominated CFB and if you look at all their classes they have the most highly ranked kids from the rankings...
BMD's can't make Dallas closer to Baton Rouge. And no, they wouldn't fund every trip home he wants to take.LSU BMD will make sure his mom and family get to every game. Come on.. That is a non issue. Hell she will probably move to BR and have a gravy job there.
Come on, Eastex, you do better than this. The only I would put much faith is DCTF for ranking Texas recruits
When Sark plays in the chaimpion game his first year, get back to me.( Oh wait he hashad his first year)
Maybe this isbetter. Texas and Alabama are a wide gap apart. Inthe pastwas no so Sark was a off. cord. one of several that won a natty. What they had ib common was Saben.Come on, Eastex, you do better than this.
Sark coached in a national championship shortly before coming here. To expect him to take the team left to him by Herman and turn a title in one year is about as ridiculous as it gets.
It's amazing how that works. The 4 teams who have been the most successful in the college football playoffs get more of the highly ranked players than everyone else. And, oh, they also take fewer lower ranked players than everyone else.Recruiting players that are highly ranked on the rankings sure seems to be working for Bama and Georgia. Guess Texas is the exception to this they have had highly rated classes last 7-6 years. It's amazing how that works. The 4 teams who have been the most successful in the college football playoffs get more of the highly ranked players than everyone else. And, oh, they also take fewer lower ranked players than everyone else.
There's more to it than just highly rated players as I'm sure you know. The right system, the right S&C, the right playcallers and also some consistency in the coaching staff. We've just been a clusterF.Guess Texas is the exception to this they have had highly rated classes last 7-6 years.
Then why did Saban's team suddenly slip once Sark left? You're truly making this too easy.Maybe this isbetter. Texas and Alabama are a wide gap apart. Inthe pastwas no so Sark was a off. cord. one of several that won a natty. What they had ib common was Saben.
Are you sayingSark did not have talent to work with.According to worthless recruitingservices Tom had high rated classes.
Maybe you mean TCU had much more talent than Texas. Sonny just had to show up team was already to go.
No I did not expect Sark to win a natty his first year, But did expect some thing better than a loseing season. And belive most of this board didtoo.
Now hope for abig winning season, but so for more brakes than gas.
Having a highly ranked class is meaningless when there is still a huge gap between us and them. Closing that gap is far more important.Guess Texas is the exception to this they have had highly rated classes last 7-6 years.
If you belive TCU had more talent than Texas there is some ocean front propiety here in Malta for sale. Then why did Saban's team suddenly slip once Sark left? You're truly making this too easy.
No, Sark didn't have the talent to work with. Have you been hiding under a rock?
TCU was in far better shape when Sonny took over than Texas was when Sark took over.
If you didn't expect Sark to win a natty his first year, then why did you bother to complain that he didn't?
I hope for some common sense here.
TCU went to the National Championship. You think that was because Sonny took a juco team and coached them up? lol Keep your property and your ocean. If you belive TCU had more talent than Texas there is some ocean front propiety here in Malta for sale.
The Sark to win anatty was a compareson to your statement on TCU andK. St. Poor Saben lost the only off. cord. that could win atitle.
Tom left a winning team that won a bowl game that Sark did what he did.
I hope for some one whocan handle the truth. Whitch hurts.
I’m prepared for the worst. That's not a good sign but hopefully tx lands him
Herman and his staff didn't develop players the way a successful staff does. OL recruiting was lacking. I also think the S&C staff did a poor job, way too many injuries.Maybe this isbetter. Texas and Alabama are a wide gap apart. Inthe pastwas no so Sark was a off. cord. one of several that won a natty. What they had ib common was Saben.

Success on the field breeds success on the recruiting trail. It's a self fulfilling prophesy. It's amazing how that works. The 4 teams who have been the most successful in the college football playoffs get more of the highly ranked players than everyone else. And, oh, they also take fewer lower ranked players than everyone else.
