CB Braxton Myers of Coppell told 247 he's been talking to Texas pretty much every day, and he is "for sure" getting to Austin this spring for a visit.

IT saying Coach Marion has had multiple productive conversations with WR Cordale Russell of North Mesquite since de-committing from TCU.

He's another prospect that should be in Austin once the winter dead period is over at the end of February.

Speaking of Arch, Alabama's 247 site had a post on who their next five commitments could be, and they mentioned QB Nico Iamaleava as one of them.

Iamaleava mentioned he's looking at a potential April decision, and wants to get back to Tuscaloosa in the spring where he's already visited twice.

More on QB Arch Manning from IT...

- he has two weeks of basketball left, and March 24th is when he's supposed to back in Austin.

- they're hearing he could make an additional spring visit to UT as early as April.

- he wants to wrap up his visits before mid-May when his high school will start spring practice; Alabama and Texas are definitely getting visits.

-IT is fading Georgia right now, and paying closer to attention to Alabama.

- the Mannings don't care where Arch goes, but want him to pick a school he's comfortable with as a student first and foremost.

They don't know if the renewed optimism is because he's talked with QB Arch Manning for a long time, but they're investigating.

Sewell is big on Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
