If you want to win big rankings matter. Bama, Georgia, Ohio Stste and Clemson are not winning championships with low ranked players. 

Not arguing that having highly ranked recruiting classes is super important,  but did the chicken come before the egg? And was Rome built in a day?

Considering our record last year our 2022 recruiting class so far is awesome. It's true that we are unlikely to end up at #1, but if things go well this season we likely end up with another top 5 class. 

  Only time will tell, but given this staff and the built in advantages we enjoy we could end up with some top recruiting classes in the coming years.

I think if we win on field we will finish 4th, if we upset Bama we could sneak up to 3.

I agree, I think we end up anywhere between 3-6 if we have some success on the field in the fall. It’s pure nonsense these articles, posters and Cook referencing potential #1 class.

close to jumping is supposedly an insider who posts on the Surly Horns website. I don't have a clue if is he really an insider but I do know that Surly Horns may be the worst site ever as far as a Texas football site. And I'm probably giving them the benefit of the doubt when I say that.

I expect aggy will pull out all of the stops with Hill's visit. This is their recruiting season right here. If they walk away from their big sword fight at the swimming pool event without a commit, they're in big trouble.

Getting Hill can turn their recruiting fortunes around, similar to the way Arch did for us albeit a few levels down.

If Hill returns from his visit still uncommitted, I think he's ours.
