Honest question, we saw all saw the pictures of Bear's guardian at USC before he entered the portal.  Everyone knew he was going to USC.  How many times is this going to happen before the NCAA sets the example?  And the NCAA wonders why people think of them as a joke.

The ncaa is a joke. Has been for years. Now that they can no longer fall back on the "student athlete" designation, they are rubber stamping everything that comes across their desk. Only a matter of time until the blue bloods form their own organization. At least in football and possibly basketball and baseball.

What exactly can the NCAA do? Give them the death penalty? Never going to happen again. There is too much money involved for that to ever happen again unless it's a division III school. Take away scholarships? with NIL, who needs scholarships?

Theoretically they could impose lots of penalties,  short of the death penalty,like reducing practices or scholarships or make them bowl ineligible. 

It doesn't seem like they have the will or the way to investigate these types of apparent portal/NIL abuses, It's likely to get worse if they continue to ignore it.

Obviously they can’t prove anything but if someone is “tampering” then they are not allowed to receive transfers from the portal.
