Good question. I used to have a feel for these things but Sark just does his own thing, IMO.
Sark is a straight savage when it comes to recruiting and roster management. And he does it in an honest and matter of fact way. To his credit, his job is to ultimately field the best roster he possibly can as it's what's best for the University of Texas football team. F*#k ya feelings. Either you're down to compete and prove you're the best option at the position or kick rocks. The dawgs will stay and continue to work and get better and the tulips will find themselves elsewhere. Helm is probably a NFL TE here in a year or two. A good blocker and has enough juice in the passing game. Not a passing game match up problem like JT Sanders or Niblack but good enough for the position.
I'm down for a Muhammed, Muhammed, Brooks, Holmes CB rotation with Black RS and getting spot minutes; Barron, Gilbeau at STAR; Mukuba, Williams, McDonald, Filsaime, Teaffe at S. Might be the deepest 2-deep group on the team.
