Well that went well.  So we lose a LB and a DB to the pigs after they were cb'd to us.  Craziness.

I think Texas should just pass on any player that visited Arkansas first.  Just tell him to have fun in Fayetteville and we're all good.  I seriously think these guys committed to Arky and just visited Texas for the hell of it and create momentum for Arky.

Money aside, what is the attraction for players to step down from the SEC to the Big 12? Given Texas’ struggles last year and the mass exodus from trailerville, there are a lot of questions about the two marquee protrams. Even a middle of the pack SEC school has more attraction to many. Imo, we can’t finalize the move soon enough.

Well, let's face it. Until our defense shows some kind of life, you can't blame them for choosing Arky, or any other school for that matter.

After spring ball some players will leave!
Here's the way OB explained how the numbers work.

Texas is sitting on 31 incoming players for the 2022 class which means they have 2 spots remaining to get them to the limit of 33. For every player above they go above that number, they will have to have a player that signed in the December take a gray/blue shirt and reclassify to 2023.

All super-seniors are currently scheduled to be counted in the 85-man scholarship numbers. There has been some talk that all super seniors would be removed out of the 85-man accounting as they were a year ago. That may or may not happen. As it stands now, if Texas gets to 33 in this years class, 5 players will need to leave the program before August in order to get to the 85-man limit. And losing players to attirition only allows Texas to get to 85 players. It does not open up more room to take more players.

Anyone else hearing Caleb Williams to Wisconsin?  If that happens then wow and I hope it happens to someone like Riley, especially since Slovis and Dart have departed.

Riley won't be hurting for QBs out there.
