The PORTAL thread has a post I made regarding a player in the PORTAL that I'm told is coming our way.

Coyote posted a tweet about a 2022 recruit there, but we forgave him on the spot.

Latest on QB Quinn Ewers from IT...

- they confirmed he will be in Austin on Saturday along with other '22 targets, which may include CB Denver Harris who will be in the area for a playoff game.

- they believe this recruitment has really picked up in Texas' favor because of the feedback that Ewers has received from the '22 class, his original classmates before he graduated early.

- after putting out feelers to several guys and doing his own research, Texas is faring well but A&M is also after those same prospects.

"Texas is oh so close to establishing momentum down the final stretch, but a little work remains. If Ewers selects Texas, as IT expects, the visit Saturday is the potential stick of dynamite to loosen a recruiting avalanche."

Well, to get one at all is something you can't dismiss. He doesn't just pass those things around.

Texas began the recruitment of Harris with a lead. Then we lost it and never got it back. Now, it is coming back to UT.
