Eric said there are better options if KM does goes back to ou... I agree. He is good but there are better players available.

Dewberry is right but I am not so sure on Harris... Will be interesting what Eric says today about Harris. He is the go to for this recruitment. roach is probably just listening to aggy sites.

Only one recruit has ranked higher than Ewers and that was the man the legend VY
VY was not only physically gifted, he was a great leader who excelled under pressure. I can only imagine the pressure that will be on this very young man to meet our usual unrealistic expectations.

Vince had plenty of fanfare, but nothing like the social media and megabucks distractions that Quinn will have to deal with. The question is, can he overcome it like VY, or will he follow the path of Garrett Gilbert?

I'm betting that Sark understands that pressure and knows how to help him.

IT is watching S Jacoby Mathews of Ponchatoula, LA closely right now, and they're hearing enough Texas noise at the moment that they think this could be a shocker in Sark's favor if he signs on Wednesday.

An Ohio State mod with the On3 network, who has interviewed Mathews in the past, put in a Texas prediction for him late last night.

Is this the Ewers factor?
I'm sure, but talk around Winfield for a while has been that he's a guy who wanted more recruiting attention since he committed early in the process.

Michigan State, in particular, is/was a school recruiting him very hard.

IT mentioned the next conversations Winfield has with the staff will likely be about how committed he'll be to the program and if he really wants to be there, especially if you consider the addition of Ewers (and potentially Manning) where very talented skill players will want to play at Texas.

On CB Denver Harris of Galena Park North Shore...IT is hearing he hasn't made a decision and they're still sticking with Texas as they await more developments.

As of this morning, Alabama and LSU are out.

IT added that Texas will be pointing out that Harris' best path to immediate playing time is at Texas, and that A&M has lost their DC and potentially their DBs coach.

Not feeling the love. So what happens if feels he isn't targeted enough one week. Hit the portal the next week? Good lord.
