We will have a much better picture of what this class will look like come mid October.  If we look good on the filed and win games it will be elite. If not well you know..

IT reporting A&M transfer Shadrach Banks is expected to pick TCU.

First, probably a TON of high pressure, negative recruiting by the TCU staff and that won't change until Texas changes the narrative on this matchup.

2nd, I bet TCU promised a WR position while Texas was focused on LB.

As long as this doesn't hurt with CB Harris (I don't think it will because TCU isn't on his radar). I'm okay with this.  Sure wish that USC LB would've picked Texas though.  Oh well, hope Overshown, Gbenda, Davis and Richardson and the rest can produce there.

Per TFB, a mystery LB who is considering entering the portal made a visit to Austin over the weekend.

If he does decide to transfer, Texas is the likely landing spot.

Based on that site's ties to OU, the rumor is it's former five-star Drew Sanders from Denton Ryan as he's been unhappy at Alabama.

Nice.  He was originally committed to ou wasn't he?  I've seen this guy play for a couple of his denton ryan years.  He's a beast.  Watching him and Ja'Tavion Sanders on the same team, it wasn't fair to the other team.

No his was committed to Alabama

On ATH Arlis Boardingham of Van Nuys, CA...IT confirmed that he is being recruited as a TE by Texas which is his preferred position, and that Coach Banks is recruiting him the hardest along with having Zoom calls with Sark every so often.

He mentioned that he grew up with former Texas LB De'Gabriel Floyd, who is his "godbrother", and that he would like to study business (he's aware of the McCombs school's reputation).

He'll be in Austin on June 25th for his official visit.
