Bot 5: Stevens back on the mound

Walks the first batter on a 3-2 count, pitch was probably in the zone. 

Single through the left side to put runners on 1st and 2nd.

Grounder to 2nd base. Called a double play on the field. review

Surpised the DP wasn't overturned. Glad it wasn't and Stevens gets of the the threat in the bottom of the 5th

Top 6: Saylor with strikeouts of Stehly and Todd. MEssingers single up the middle

Saylor gets Ardoin to ground out to SS. 

As big as Stevens has been for Texas, Saylor giving them 4 innings of 1 run ball has been huge.

Texas 10-1 to the bottom of the 6th

I had to put the baby back to bed in the 6th. Tristan had runners on 1st and 2nd and got a pop up to end the inning.

Top 7: New pitcher for ECU, thank goodness Saylor ran out of steam.

Dylan Campbell - battles in a 8 pitch at bat but pops up to SS for out 1

Faltine - walks. This new pitcher doesn't seem to have great stuff working. Would love to tack on some runs

Agnos the SS for ECU comes in to pitch for the 3rd straight day.

Good at bat by Hodo to work a walk. Runners on 1st and 2nd, 1 out

Kennedy - chops a grounder to 1b. Moves the runners to 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs.

Ivan - F8 to end the scoring threat

Ground ball to second, Considered trying for the DP and then nearly throws wide. Good snag by Ivan. 2 outs

Slugger Bryson Worrell up, and he walks him to the empty 1st base. With an open base, not a bad walk as Worrell has good power.

Runner steals 3rd.

Stehle gets out 3 to escape the jam

Stehly flies out to short left field.

Todd hits a soft liner to LCF that is caught for out 2

I’d be inclined to vote Tristan Stevens as series MVP if Texas wins.
