What are the chances the ECU pitcher comes back out after the delay? This is his third day in a row to pitch, only about 10 pitches in. Would be an advantage for Texas if another arm for ECU is down early.

I think he may come back to finish the AB vs Ardoin.  ECU is depleted, just like UT.  The more runs that Texas can plate when play resumes, the better....obviously.  Ha

No word yet on restart.  At this point, it's more about lightning than rain.

The storm cell is just getting past Greenville around  7 PM ET, then it looks to clear up some.

Probably another hour at least.

Saw come video clips of some pretty heavy rain, probably not enough to affect the field of play.

Coaches just met with officials at Home Plate.  They've departed, but no word yet on the decision.

Tarp is being pulled off the field.  No  word on restart time.

For clarification, this is a resumption of play, not a restart.

Nope.  It's raining again.  Not super heavy, but the tarps are still on the field.

Additionally, there is no cutoff time tonight to resume play.  NCAA doesn't want to reschedule for tomorrow due to, get this, team travel and Omaha preparations.
