QJ tried to commit to us a while back. He was told to hold off. As of about a month ago, staff wanted his commitment. I think it will happen soon.

It's more than twice as far from Tucson Az. to Columbus, Ohio. Less than 900 miles from Tucson to Austin with 75-80mph speed limits.  Many could drive that in one day. Family and friends would have to fly to Columbus, nearly 1900 miles away.  Not a cheap trip unless someone else is picking up the tab.

Would make a difference for me and my family. Besides, the Texas girls are much prettier.

Whether if he is or isn’t (there’s conflicting reports), I wouldn’t worry about it too much either way at this point. The priorities should remain the same.

We need to tell Evans that we will send him an LOI on signing day and if he wants to come to Texas then sign it and mail it back. But we are no longer recruiting him.

Hopefully we will have two stud running back’s by then and won’t give a shit either way.

He told the world he wasn’t including Texas on his list because we didn’t beat Georgia badly enough. Fuc him.

Agreed 100%. In no way do I allow Evans to change my priorities. Hopefully Robinson commits soon, good or bad. That way Texas can adjust it's priorities going forward.
