2019 Recruiting Board/Thread

I guess I slept through Lynn Swann being named AD at USC. Wasn’t it Pat Haden before that? Did Marcus Allen turn them down?

Swann wears his mustard yellow HOF jacket to work.  Not sure his qualifications or his success with the job, but he is the AD at usc.

Noah Cain says after his Georgia visit that Georgia is now tied with Texas and Penn State as his leader.

I'll call that a win. I feel like a recruit will never be higher on a school than immediately after a visit. The fact that he didn't say Georgia is the sole leader is probably a good sign.

I still think Texas makes the most sense for Cain.

Lets hope Georgia does not push. If they do he gone....
Too late. They pushed. They put on a show for him, showed him how he'd be used – used Nick Chubb as a comparison. I think we're fortunate he didn't commit before leaving.

If we can make this drag out until his visit, we have as good a shot as Georgia.

The depth chart is not friendly to him at Georgia. He'd be the #2 back as soon as he steps on campus here.

Sometimes though, that stuff doesn't matter.

Georgia’s sales pitch to running backs is tough to top. Just when you things were starting to clear up for Texas, UGA decided to throw a wrench into the plans.

I have faith Texas is going to get it done one way or another in getting running back depth taken care of. We have an incredible history of successful running backs playing at the highest levels collegiately and professionally. I am actually wondering if Derain Brown is being overlooked here. How does he project for next year? This team is going to be good and the opportunity to be part of a two or three headed monster here grinding away on Big 12 defenses next year for an improving Texas football program is going to be a pretty good sell, especially if we finish strong our next two games.

Arjei Hindi recommitted hmmm Aggy prob bought him over the weekend. I remember he the one flashing horns down after commitment
