You have a point lol. I’m just glad he was able to put together a productive career after all the injuries. He was fun to watch.
That plug on LHN where Shipley goes after the clay pigeon is funny, but the truth is, Colt probably asked "Ship?..Ship, you all right?" pretty often during their careers.

BINGO. Kid is a legend in my eyes
Yeah Jordan Shipley was a beast. And Jaxon Shipley was legit too and would have been better with consistent QB play. Best stat for Jaxon, freshman year he went 4 for 4 passing with 73 yards and 3 TD's.

Jordan had a gazillion knee injures and still ran a 4.4 40...kid was official beast status!

SHA anything to report on Herman's in-home with V. Jack?  Did he work his magic?

I just seen the film on him.. He is legit. He has good vision, ability to cut back, very versatile of a player he is.  Kinda reminds me of Darren Sproles in a way
Good tape for sure. Listed btw 5-5 & 5-7, while he is short at 180+ lbs is isn't small or fragile. Love the PWO offers, want to keep getting a few every year that will help with scout teams and can in a pinch/injures come in and play a couple plays.

Shipley was a full grown man. Lets not undersell him because Colt was throwing the ball to him. He was damn good wideout even with the injuries he piled up.
I wasn't at all under selling Ship or Quan. That 08 team is still one of my favorites. It was better than the 09 team. I'm just saying we've had and do have some damn good WRs since and the biggest issue we've had is QB play. Johnson is a beast. But he needs good reps every day in practice, a QB that can change plays at the LOS, a QB that can get him the ball deep on time and accurate. RHM would have been a total stud and now he's leaving. What a waste. We gotta find an OLine that can protect and a QB with QB1 smarts and talent. Give that and the WRs will be fine.

Your initial comment felt that way to me. I don’t think there is a single WR on the roster that is in the same caliber as Shipley or even Quan right now. CJ’s stock took a bit of a bit of a hit this year and it was more than QB play that attributed to that for me.

Consistent QB play would no doubt help, but those guys also have to get open consistently and make plays when the opportunities are there.

Shipley was a tremendous route runner.  Loved that guy!  Maybe he should be coaching our WRs.

Interesting thread going on over at OB where a couple of posters are speculating on the possibility of Herman dropping 1 or 2 recruiting bombs on NSD as well as more coaching news.

Also some speculation on whether or not something is up with Stan Drayton as his name is not even being mentioned hardly at all with regards to recruiting. Saw a tweet that connected his name to the Titans. A few posters have wondered if there is a connection between this and Ingram's aggie "visit".

Are we talking about 1 or 2 recruiting bombs good or bad?
