Would love to have him, but if the Horns can hang onto DWA then I think the Horns finally will have rotation at TE.  Cafe Brewer has impressed me with his toughness and will only get bigger and stronger.  Reese is a question mark, but should be ready next year. Holding onto DWA will allow Epps to develop and start a pipeline.  MM is luxury at this point.  Still hate to lose top stste talent to someone else.
I’m not sure I’m not more intrigued by Epps on defense after seeing his senior stuff. I love MM much more than either Epps or DWA personally.

By the way, Rondale Moore is scheduled to take his OV to Texas this weekend.

Call me crazy, but I think MM is ours.

Oct. 20 is his announcement date, per his Twitter. Michigan hasn't looked so good lately, especially at the QB position which feeds the TE the ball.

Indiana, I repeat – Indiana just took them to OT.

I also think he sees the need UT has at TE.

Texas.
The timing off this is odd. Kid has always done his own thing, but an announcement prior to a Texas OV doesn’t give me confidence.

Then again he could do the thing where he just takes one more visit to the school he chooses, but then why the UCLA visit?

I thought he was suppose to announce on NSD. Yes I will call you crazy lol

I'll admit I haven't been following Epps senior year closely (ok, at all) had no idea he was looking to switch.  Is he D1 level talent at DE?

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have MM atTE...I was just preparing myself for him to pick someone else than UT.

I will say this, If MM picks Texas then I'm convinced he is part of the 2018 group text that have decided to pick Texas and make them the #1 class.  I would say Cook and Waddle are Texas bound.

Take a look at some of his defensive snaps from this year.

I'm not worried about the timing of the OV. He's already been on a Texas visit and loved it. It was impactful. IMO, his mind was more or less made up after that visit. Michigan's performance just made it easier.

He'll announce and take his OV to Texas after, as a commit. That scenario has happened a few times.

Man, I hope you're right SHA.  What a HUGE get that would be.  Also, I stand by my earlier statement that if MM commits to Texas then I think it has been all planned and Cook and Waddle are in.

It has happened a few times, but it’s few and far between. I don’t share the same confidence as you at the moment.

He was adamant about a NSD decision and taking all of his visits. Something changed somewhere.

Four star St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) LB Nik Bonitto will be visiting Texas this weekend. He was offered awhile back, but things have been quiet.

He has been a silent commit to Michigan since the spring... I guess we will all know soon enough.

Saw a tweet somewhere that Meyer is visiting/visited Houston Lamar today.  Quick Herman, to the Bevo Copter

MB is right. Michigan has this one

Not one thing MM has done or said in the past two months makes me think Michigan is really under serious consideration, much less the winner. I don't do twitter, but I am able to view accounts to see what they're posting. I don't see much from him on UM. You'd think he'd interact with their recruits at least some. But no, he does that with UT commits.

So the Michigan wins argument is forced to be a short one because nothing really says that outside of one's own mind. Or at least thats why I don't pay it much attention.

I could be wrong, I'm not perfect. Admittedly, I simply look for the evidence. What does it say? Because most words that don't come from him won't mean much.

It's the outstanding year Michigan is having, I'm sure. lol

If anything, the 180 on the decision says Texas. Thats what he's got all around him. Thats who he talks to.

Why else do you get excited about one of your recruiting classmates coming on board? (Jamison).

Didn't Watkins commit before taking an OV? Or did he even take one at all? Wasn't that this year?

Rondale Moore committed to Texas this year back in June – and will take his OV TO TEXAS THIS WEEKEND. Thats just off the top of my head.

A lot of guys get excited for on Twitter for their buddies commitment, but I don’t take a ton from that.

Watkins committed super early, but we all know he’s a real special kind of special with all of the commitments he’s already made.

You could be right and it could be Texas, for me personally I can’t say it is based on what my gut is telling me. Would love to be wrong because he’s a baller and Texas needs more guys like him.
