2018 Recruiting Board/Thread

How confident are you with your source SHA? Also, I would think the "logjam" is being created by the kids we already have commited correct? I feel like they are recruiting each other it seems.

Well, its said without considering how many Texas DBs may leave early.

Im pretty confident in my source.

After seeing what BJ Foster has done on the offensive side of the ball, I might be inclined to see what he can do there when he gets to Austin. Kid is excitement in a bottle.

Urquidez, Okafor, Kerstetter, Rodriguez, Cosmi and Thomas are or will be potential tackles. They will be young next year but there are still enough bodies for someone to step up. And if we sign Ghirmai and Moore they will also be in play. Wouldn't be the first time we played a true freshman.
Urquidez was highly rated out of HS and should be ready next year for sure.

O lineman normally have the one of the hardest transition from HS to college. It's body plus technique. A conner williams is very rare. If a kid is not top 15 in the country (and that's pushing it) they are not plug and play. The available guys in HS now are 3 years from contributing.

Urquidez needs more time in the incubator. He’s a guy I check back on in year 3 and see where he is at.

From his tweets it looks like Jalen Green suffered some sort of injury. Very unfortunate news for the Texas Commit. He’s been having a nice year.

Come Oct. 30th, we will have the best DB class I have ever seen assembled. And the logjam will be used against us.
Should be an easy sell seeing as at worst, Boyd, Elliot, Locke, Hill, Bonney, and D. Davis will all be gone after next season if none declare early this year.  All of these guys will have a chance to start by the 2nd season.

I heard it's Green's collarbone.

Maurese Wren is having surgery on his hand, which he injured last night.

Is this another Game that shows prospects the heart the Herman is putting into this program? The loss doesn’t effect there decision because the way it played out? Besides Ronnie Perkins tht was leaning toward OU already? Believe that’s him

Decision date set for Mustapha Muhammad. Seeing as how he hasn’t visited a Texas officially yet I don’t like the vibes I’m getting.

Would love to have him, but if the Horns can hang onto DWA then I think the Horns finally will have rotation at TE.  Cafe Brewer has impressed me with his toughness and will only get bigger and stronger.  Reese is a question mark, but should be ready next year. Holding onto DWA will allow Epps to develop and start a pipeline.  MM is luxury at this point.  Still hate to lose top stste talent to someone else.

Call me crazy, but I think MM is ours.

Oct. 20 is his announcement date, per his Twitter. Michigan hasn't looked so good lately, especially at the QB position which feeds the TE the ball.

Indiana, I repeat – Indiana just took them to OT.

I also think he sees the need UT has at TE.

Texas.
