I disagree.  There are always gems out there that arent highly ranked.  KState finds them every year. 

We cant go into next year with 3 returning OT's just because there isnt a slew 4 star and 5 stars to pick from. 

Go find em.  My memory is terrible but wasnt Conner a 3 star?

Connor’s eval was an easy one for me and I still have no idea why he was under ranked considering his film was good and the schools that were in on him. 

The coaches are evaluating all options and are keeping their eyes open for late bloomers, but they won’t just take bodies just for the sake of taking bodies. That’s a dangerous game to play and how you end up with guys just taking space on the roster.

That makes zero sense because at that point YOU NEED BODIES otherwise what else do you do.  Keep converting DL and OG into tackles?

Besides you are losing Conner, Tristan, and Delance(already gone).

Connor will be back this year and may return for another season depending on a few things. There's an injury to consider now and how that might affect him if he went in now rather than later.

You've got Patrick Hudson who was doing really well before getting hurt. He'll be back and is only frosh.

Like it or not, we just found out Terrell Cuney can play. He's got another year.

What we lose to graduation – TE Kendall Moore, OT Nickelson, TE Andrew Beck. Thats it.

We haven’t heard anything in regards to Williams coming back this year. I would be surprised if he tried to rush back. I’d also be very surprised if he didn’t get favorable feedback from the NFL after this year.

Nobody is saying they are comfortable with going into next year with three tackles, man. But at the same time you can’t panic and just start taking guys just for the hell of it. 

You still have the rest of the cycle and the spring to find guys before you have to worry about next season. Trust the staff to go out and get the job done on the trail. They know better than anyone what they need.

I think he's played both, but not sure. But IMO he's one of those who can play both.

I realize its not ideal to bring in lesser talented OL that are taking up space for years.  I just fear with our luck on OL and injuries. 

If we lose any OT's during spring or fall camp due to injuries, transfers, suspensions then we in trouble all over again.

Does Patrick Hudson play OT?  Maybe he makes the move if not.

As I said above, IMO Hudson is a Guard. He may be able to play tackle in a pinch, but I don’t think he sticks long term.

I was wondering the same thing because Kate made an appearance earlier this week and I thought it was for Jamison.  I'm perfectly fine for her coming again for him.  Jamison is having a great senior year and I wonder if there might be bump in ratings in the near future.

Urquidez, Okafor, Kerstetter, Rodriguez, Cosmi and Thomas are or will be potential tackles. They will be young next year but there are still enough bodies for someone to step up. And if we sign Ghirmai and Moore they will also be in play. Wouldn't be the first time we played a true freshman.

Come Oct. 30th, we will have the best DB class I have ever seen assembled. And the logjam will be used against us.
