2018 Recruiting Board/Thread

We tried that with Nicholson. We're still waiting for that to turn a profit.
It happens. He was a long term project/gamble all the way. Sometimes you hit on a plug and play guy, and sometimes they just end up being depth. Texas needs plenty of the latter right now for 2018 and beyond.

With no Damion Miller, does that affect Tommy Bush or Waddle? Or was this anticipated already?

I get the feeling Herman anticipated a larger than expected class based on the amount people they're pursuing. I'm sure Delance was a surprise, but I don't think Miller was.

Daniel, I have a question for you. Let's say Texas wins 9 to 10 games this year, with a win over OU, and Sumlin gets the boot at ATM. If Wright, Tatum, and Brown all want to join the revolution, do they take just one, two, or all of them? I love B. Brown and would definitely take him, but who would they choose between Wright and Tatum if the numbers are tight?

What am I missing with D. Miller?

Did he not make it in or is he transferring out?

Wow, good question. I can't honestly say which one I'd go with. Tatum has already changed his mind once. I'd want some reassurance that won't happen again, if thats possible.

Never mind... Didn't make it in.

Sorry to hear about that but we are loaded at receiver.

O-Line and D-Line would have me a little nervous especially with the attrition.

Don't think Tatum comes back sad to say. Wasn't their a rumor going around that an OU staffer got involved with his mom?

Wright is all aggy. Some guys are just brained washed. Rumlin can get canned and aggy lose to Nichols State and he'll still go to aggy.

Brown is our best shot. Daniel Carson would be a nice get as well, kid is way underrated.

I don't think Tatum was ever "really" committed. He was just playing games looking for attention. He was Sooners all the way. After further investigation. Out of your list I do believe everyone else is right, only shot is B Brown. Recruiting news is awesome but can't wait till it's GAME recap news in couple weeks.

I think if all of those guys want in down the line then they will find a way to squeeze them in. That's a "cross that bridge when we get to it" kind of hypothetical.

That's fair. Just passing the time until it's gametime. Both my kids are off at college now so its just the wife and I.
