2018 Recruiting Board/Thread

Mentioned this awhile back as a possibility. Texas offered the top JUCO offensive tackle in Badara Traore today.

This guy may have just become a higher priority.  We need some OL.

If these 2018 guys watched last night performance and erase ANY if not ALL doubt from Maryland game and Tom Herman then there just not the fit. Last night on prime time we def warned some points with top recruits. It was huge for Herman on the recruiting trail. Not keep getting better and kick ass in Big 12 play, theyll come runnin.

Put it this way, he witnessed a buttkicking gigantica and had a great time during his visit for the SJSU game. 56-0. Scoring in all kinds of ways. Fever pitched environment. Treated like a star.

And we made no moves in his pecking order.

Uggghhh.

At this point I just want to hold on to what they have, add another Oline target, add R. Perkins, Bobby Brown, and Jamison and run with it.  Maybe add WR Bush or Crawford down the line if/when Moore leaves.  I know one is a slot and the other is outside, but hey.  Key is an Oline target and those 3 defensive targets for me.  I've kind of given up hope on Cook and Waddle at this point.

Agree, but I keep recruiting Waddle until NSD. I just do. He's special. We need more special.

If we play lights out the rest of the way, as we did against USC, we will have an incredible class and will be able to hold on to almost all our current class. I have my doubts about one of them.

I think we get Jamison. He's almost pulled the trigger a few times, each time with Texas as the winner. I don't see how that could have changed.

I have my doubts on the Missouri guys, at least one of them but really both of them to an extent. I would throw the kitchen sink at Bobby Brown. Forget Crawford, IMO. But Bush is still very realistic. IMO, this class can't end with both Bush and Waddle. Its one or the other. Likely Bush but on the Texas side, you keep trying on both.

Texas should pay some visits to certain LSU class members. I hear there is confusion and growing discontent in the ranks.

Aggy's disaster this year will be in slow motion. The close brush with UL-Laf after the UCLA debacle has that program in turmoil. The longer they wait, the more the uncertainty grows.

dont forget how aTm stormed out of the gate an completely over powered Nichols State....(pssst......not exactly)   .....uh what do you mean not exactly?   ( ....you damned fool...Nichols State led most Of that game)....Oh!

Never mind

The problem with aggy's class is outside of Max Wright who do you want?

Last night, Jaylen Waddle released his top six which included: Texas, TAMU, Alabama, Oregon, TCU and Florida State.

Waddle took a visit to Texas last weekend for the San Jose State game. Following the visit I spoke with someone close to Waddle and was told that Texas was running around third place on the list with Alabama appearing to be the current leader. I’ll be reaching out to my source to see if things changed for the better after the performance at USC. – (Super K)
