I'll check, but I think if Texas wanted him they would have pushed earlier.

Oh I'm watching.  Makes my stomach turn every time he touches the ball.  Kid is legit.  Too many Texas kids on that OSU roster for my taste.  Have to keep those caliber players at home.

If I remember correctly he wanted to pop early in the cycle, but as you recall Charlie didn't like early commitments. JK didn't strike me as a guy to make a reservation or jerk coaches around, so that was a major miscalculation IMO.

That and Ohio State embarrassed us with Dobbins. OSU showed him a lot of attention when we weren't. By the time Charlie and staff decided to throw him some attention, Dobbins was too far in love with OSU to make any ground.

Yup. Allowed them to get their hooks into him. I felt optimistic Texas could still flip him when I saw him in Oregon last year, but... *sigh*
