If Texas can hold on to Reggie and Collin they have the start of some special guys. Collin has great hands and can really go get the football. He just plays in a run heavy offense so he doesn't have the huge numbers. Reggie can play the slot or outside and reminds me of a BJ Johnson coming out.

Nice find on the CJ video. His hands & athleticism look like major assets. Doesn't look like he has plus speed or quickness, so it's solid that he already is being coached to compensate with strengths.

Do y'all feel that CS is starting to sell Texas Football to in state as well as out of state recruits. My friends y'all have a great day

The things Strong are doing is well respected with alot of coaches in Tx. They want to see UT get back to hard nosed football. Alot of top notch kids like FLASH and that is one of the things UT lacks right now" Offense, Uniforms ect"... Even though they lost yesterday I think yesterday woke up some people in state, that along with Aggie losing. I know he is hitting out of state hard because him and some of his coaches have roots laid down in other states. If UT can keep Burt that would help alot.

Curious to hear from you recruiting guys on this as it relates to receivers.  Read somewhere that Ryan Newsome is thinking about skipping his OV next week vs. Iowa St.  Any truth that y'all have heard, or is this paranoid BS?

If Newsome comes cool if not its cool. I'm starting to hear from a very very good source that he may be very overrated. Texas does need some game breakers with speed very badly though. Hopefully Foreman turns into that guy.

Newsome is not overrated. I've seen him play. He has speed that 95% of the teams in this state don't have. And that's at the HS level.

I sat three rows back behind Newsome during one of his many visits to the 40 (last year's Baylor game). He definitely passes the eye ball test. Of the 20 or so visitors they brought in - he was the only one you looked at and knew was a recruit. The rest, you had to look at their tags.

Newsome has visited Texas about 10 times. His love affair with Texas has gone on for even longer. I don't see that changing now.

My guy didn't doubt his speed.. Just his ability to be a college route runner. This is a guy that has sent 100s of kids to college.
