2016 WR Collin Johnson

You don't have to watch alot of film to see that he is a player.  He should be a good one.

4-star 2016 WR Reggie Hemphill should also be an EE

With the RBs, WRs and TEs that Charlie has now… and will soon have on the team, assuming Wickline can get the OL serviceable… which I realize is not a given short term, then one of the QBs on the team should be able to consistently move the offense… and score points.
Plus, with WRs like Colin Johnson… who looks like a red zone nightmare for opposing defenses, moving forward Charlie should be able to make a dang good sales pitch to other top QB recruits.

With WRs like Colin Johnson, the Longhorns will soon look like a Baylor Track Meet on the Grid Iron.

Considering his best/highest season was 1.142 yards, it's impressive that Roy Williams is No. 1 by such a wide margin on the all-time yardage list.

Kids a monster...

I just hope they let him use that athleticism he has at the WR position and not attempt to make him a "project" at QB or TE.

C.J.'s running form is impeccable! I just hope that he develops some more quickness to his game. This could help him become a threat in the short passing game as well as the deep passing game. Right now he's an exciting young talent and it's clear by his commitment to UT (graduating early) that he understands he'll need to undergo some additional strength and conditioning work.

So, the person who's most excited to see Collin Johnson on campus is everyone's favorite Pit Master... Moorer

While I love all of the great WR to play for us, I'm not overly impressed with there numbers. Traditionally it appears we have had some amazing running backs carry our offenses more so then WR. If we can just pair up this kid with a good QB then he has the potential to lead all of those categories.

Fwiw I'm not saying by any means that colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley didn't carry the offense and were not amazing, I just think this kid has the tools to do better.

Based on film, lineage and character... the CB tells me Colin Johnson is going to score a lot of touchdowns for the University of Texas.

Call me old school, but I really like after touchdowns and many other plays... he's looking for the ref, so he can give him the ball. To me, reveals character... and a respect for the game... and for others.

When he's ready... and the Horns are ready with a QB to deliver the ball into his hands... deadly combination to opposing teams, IMO.

Kid is going to be a monster... I would love to see him play at an Texas high school with a wide open system..
