He says he didnt get to speak to coaches on his prev visit

But, he also did not get an offer at that time, which may have had more to do with it

Note - HD says QB Tristen Wallace will not be in Austin this weekend (will go to tech instead)

i wonder when he made the trip down there anyways?
I think he came to a game (but 247 does not show which)

Brought the family along

I guess they were expecting an offer

5 of the last 6 CBs have been to Texas (but the most recent is aggy)

Turning Things Around Offensively At Texas by Steve Wiltfong
"..... They certainly need to as Texas ranked 110th nationally in total offense in 2014, 98th rushing the football and 88th passing. With the influx of talent coming in 2015 and 2016, expect that to change rapidly.

Buechele looks like the guy that could make it all tick.

Ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the nation’s No. 4 dual-threat passer, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Buechele will arrive in Austin the total package. While former blue-chippers Tyrone Swoopes and Jerrod Heard battle under center this spring at Texas, Buechele will arrive next fall a more complete player than those two were at the same point in their high school careers.

Buechele particularly separates himself with his accuracy as a passer. He can change the game throwing the football. One source told 247Sports it’s scary how accurate this young man can be.

A fantastic competitor, Buechele threw for 2,492 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior, while adding another 572 yards rushing and seven scores. He’s a quick decision maker, gets the ball out fast and there isn’t a throw he can’t make. Buechele is just as comfortable slicing defenses up from the pocket as he is delivering the pigskin on the run.

Buechele impressed Strong, Shawn Watson and the rest of the Texas staff in camp last summer and he became a major target from that point on, and what Texas is bringing in around him is very, very impressive.

From the 2015 class that ranked No. 10 nationally and tops in the Big 12 on National Signing Day according to 247Sports, Rockwall (Texas) High standout Chris Warren could very well end up being one of the most productive running backs from his class on the collegiate level. Two other four-star recruits in John Burt and Ryan Newsome are very exciting at the receiver position and tight end was a huge position of need for the Longhorns in 2015 and they went out and got a downfield guy in Devonaire Clarington. One source believes offensive lineman Connor Williams, who enrolled early, will be a future pro. Three other offensive linemen also enrolled early in JUCOs Brandon Hodges andTristan Nickelson along with offensive guard Garrett Thomas. That doesn’t include four-star center Patrick Vale and four-star offensive tackle Ronnie Major who signed and will arrive in the summer...."

Per Burnt Ends, Hemphill said Deontay Anderson is not coming this weekend.

The Saivion Smith commit is beneficial for all of the programs in Texas. LSU routinely cherry picks the state and has been considered major players for three of the top DBs this year in Texas. They also have offered numerous targets in Louisiana in the secondary and are expected to land them all. There will be lots of leftover talent to pick off with LSU filling up quickly.

Yeah, I'm not going to lose sleep over kam Martin.
Yep, a lot of people gave Strong crap for not offering him earlier because everyone thought Kam was going to be a top 100 type player. He's a 3 star now, maybe Strong really knows what he's doing.

I think Texas can flip Kam if they want too, I'm not sure they really want him though.
