The son of former Texas Rangers third baseman Steve Buechele, Shane has great competitiveness, a winner's mentality and presence on the field, a high football IQ and above all else natural leadership ability.
Buechele has offers from Oklahoma, TCU, Texas Tech, California, Houston,Kentucky and North Carolina, among others.

Buechele can beat you with his arm and his legs. He's accurate and knows how to throw receivers open - something many high school quarterbacks have yet to learn.
With the addition of Buechele, the Longhorns have four verbal commitments for the class of 2016. He joins Hemphill, Johnson and defensive standout Demarco Boyd.
Texas will look to take 19-21 players in the class of 2016."

awesome pickuppppppppppp right on cue as expected...I remember his dad Steve Buechele..a hell of a good third basement for the Rangers back in those days...I'm as happy as pig on poop....Now im curious as to how this will effect getting Wallace now...Strong had a master plan on this one

Some time back in the 90ts Texas signed a LB from Manor. Did not play much for the Horns but did play a little for pros. His name escapes me at the moment.

yeah he is from Waco..but didnt he go to school at Manor? or am i thinking of Mike Adams...somewhere my memory is jogged between those two guys..I do know that Cavil is working at Manor right now in the football department if i'm not mistaken...thats why i had his name beside a ?
