2016 Recruiting - Week #15-23

A long time coach who happens to be my uncle gave me some advice when I was a budding young QB. He told me to carry my football with me wherever I went. He told me to sleep with it. Always have it in my hands.

That advice paid big dividends as I developed coordination with the ball I didn't have before. Sorta like Buechele is displaying except I'm not sure I could do that. lol  But he's definitely sleeping with a football.

Be careful or you can have an accident.

This is such a terrible tweet for several reasons. 1) 4/4 Texas commits are in the top 100, 4/12 commits from Texas for Houston in the top 100. Quality over quantiy 2) I bet at least two of those top Texas 100 commits for Houston do not stick. 3) Texas has already turned away Texas top 100 recruits like Darius Anderson. I also think they've told Acy to slow down too.

Andrew Greif: This is big: Eastern Washington just announced all spring term graduates. Vernon Adams is not on the list.

Adams was a guy we looked at in the offseason, looking like he might not qualify now.

Strong and company have a certain madness to their recruiting but they know what they're doing.

Remember when Texas fans bitched about not offering Eason (#3 player in the country) on his visit. He's now Buechele's backup at the Elite 11.

Ehlinger and Westlake apparently won the 7 on 7 competition. Several people sound like they were impressed (EJ Holland and Max Olson). 

Interested to see if we offer him after UTL.
