2015 Recruiting Thread

Don't read too much into t-shirts. Especially ones a kid recently received.

The handler thing is serious. Now, the key will be whether we have a kid who (or parents) will say "thanks but no thanks." Some kids (and parents) will do that wisely because they suspect it will come back to them later.

There have been numerous cases where "handlers" were in play. A couple of them were higher profile kids (kid that went to oregon/baylor, kid that went to aggy with new wheels, etc). None of those kids ended up at Texas.

Well you might be right.  I dont know either way.  Seems unethical and a violation to have school handlers hanging with kids.  

I mean seriously why would a recruit's parents allow something like this to go on?  

We have proximity, friends, education, the city of austin, MJ, and of course Strong on our side.   It will be interesting to see if he comes this weekend and if his handler shows up with him representing another school, then I hope Strong sends him home.

1. Saban to Texas - documented. What I said was correct. Then Mack Brown happened. Again, it's been well documented. So why is it you can recognize where I might have been wrong, but are totally incapable of recognizing whats right?

2. Daylon Mack was indeed seriously contemplating Texas, and at one point had decided to. Again – well documented – the Chavis/Sumlin visit during the 11th hour saved the day for aggy. He said that himself.

3. Funny you mention the Strong thing. For the weeks after I reported this, the concept of Strong's job in play became prevalent in the media and on Saturday broadcasts. Things change, but I'm puzzled why you can't seem to associate "like things." You know, who said something first and such. lol

4. As for Malik, I think you're confused. I've never said Malik was getting paid to head to aggie. You confused Malik with Mack. And again, that stuff was also documented (wts).

I truly wish you would read last year's thread. It would save me this type of trouble. lol
