Hopefully we get one of Jackson or Fowler.  Fowler is the ideal candidate but hard to overcome all the "lifelong fan of" stuff (But we do have his nana on our side!)

Jackson plays it close to the vest.  Maybe not quite as much as Porter but still a tough read.

He did seem pretty happy in the ou coach visit photo.  But we will see

One bonus about Jackson is the possible positive effect he might have on JMad

Sounds like no Demarkus Acy visit

Too bad, some call him Earl-Thomas-like

But ... does it indirectly confirm Elliott?

Acy not coming means Chris Brown is coming

And if Chris Brown is coming, then DJax is too

And if Chris Brown and DJax are coming, then so is the Shark

And if Shark, Chris Brown and DJax are coming then Coach DadJeans' fav DT is too

It's math so dont try and argue with it
No room class is about full.

My own thoughts.  Picking in a vacuum (and not worrying about hurt feelings), I let Taylor, Porter and Humphrey go free and lock up the rest.  Reasoning is Humphrey is a man without a position.  He may grow into a TE position but likely he will cap out as a big possession receiver which is why I take Irving Smith over him.  Porter just doesn't feel truly elite and you already have 3 young RB's on campus to tote the rock.  Taylor is just caught up in a numbers game and while he's likely better than Wilbon, I refuse to cut a kid that has been loyal and committed early just because I need his scholly.

Final Numbers would be:

QB - 1

RB - 0

FB - 1

WR - 3

TE  - 2

OL - 5

DT - 3

DE - 3

ILB - 1

OLB - 2

DB - 4

Name your 11 ....
Never imagined this would happen (more players than scholly's) but I cant pick 11. The best prospects are defensive players. I wouldn't waste an offer for an RB unless they were elite and I don't see one of those. The needs are obvious and that's in the trenches. O line looks great but you cant pass on Hudson. I would take the best 3 or 4 DT's because that's our greatest need and Daniels is my fav despite the rankings. Irvin and Humphrey would be great but they bring the same skill set (not talent just position) if it boiled down to it I would only take one. The LB/DE group I want them all and it seems they are a package. B. Jones is an automatic. From that point you see what's left and take the best player regardless of position.....Give me 14 picks and I could be exact. I know these kids like the NSD attention but somebody is going to be left out. I'd go public now to make sure it isn't me.

Rumors that this staff could get anyone they want of their remaining targets. Might have even turned away a couple.

So many rumors, so many open spots left, so little or so many more days until NSD. Every 5 minutes I'm hitting refresh!

Here's my guess at our 11: Brandon Jones, Erick Fowler, Patrick Hudson, Jeffrey McCulloch, Dontavious Jackson, Chris Daniels, Eric Cuffee, Stephon Taylor, Lil’Jordan Humphrey, Chris Brown, Deontay Anderson.

To get Cobb who do we give up?
Higdon just said its possible we take 5 DB's - and that we want Cobb regardless of whether Eboh is in or not.

Eboh, Cuffee, Cobb, Jones, Brown

Bobby Burton wrote that he could see us sign as many as 29 recruits.

What's up fellas? I personally think that we start to see some verbals this weekend , and from there you'll see us get the train rolling into signing day. In my opinion Jordan Elliott is the best player left on our board if we can get him and Taylor then we'd be good to go, the more you break down the type of kids CS is recruiting the more you will realize that this is almost the exact type of team he built in Louisville and this defense has the potential to be better than those nasty Florida defenses, I don't remember a time (Assuming we get BJ, DA, CB,and EC) that Texas was this loaded in the secondary. It all came together for CS at Louisville in year 3, and this will be year 3 for us. I guess you can call me a believer idk only time will tell.

What about Deontay Anderson?

One guy goes public the rest at the same position start questioning if they should come. I think that's what it means
Either that or he's talking about roster attrition that happens as current players get recruited over (see any of our WR's not named Burt).

We are in on a lot of possible flippables down the stretch --

Michigan (Elliott)
Baylor (Hudson)
aggy (JMad/Smith/Jackson)
ou (Daniels)
LSU (Fowler)
