Higs still thinks we have a shot at one other 5-star besides Jones. Possibly two more
If this is true then it means there is a recruit (or two) out there not yet on the visit lists I have been posting
The more obvious possible is Hudson.
Greg Little is also a 5-star.
JMad has a high ranking score too but isn't a 5-start now.
What do yall think?

Little, Oliver, J-Mad, B Jones, K Jones are the Texas 5 star recruits on Scout (the only ranking service Higdon cares about).

Oliver is H-town all the way. His former coach works for UH and his best friend is going there as well.
I could see J-Mad, but his parents are very against him backing out on his word. I've met this kid several times and he's as top notch off the field as they come.
Kendall Jones is a force because of his measurable a but he has never really impressed me otherwise.
That being sad is still take them all! Haha

I see 12 min of beast mode. The fact this is all senior film indicates he dominated mostly every game. His explosion off the snap and closing speed is impressive. This kid is a monster amongst children

Dont discount out of state prospects. We've been following some LA and FL DB and WR prospects for a while. We'll see if any visit.
He never actually writes in coherent sentences. So, its not really fair of you to ask me to definitively state what he said. The best any mere mortal can do is read the tea leaves
He had made a prediction a little while back of a top 10 class for Texas, possibly even top 5 if things broke perfectly (I posted this info several pages back)
He is sticking with the top 10 prediction still
If you take our current class, then add the 12 next most likely (to get to 25), we still land outside the top 10 (somewhere ~ 15)
Thus, in order to get inside the top 10, there has to be one (or possibly two more) 5-star or near 5-star in terms of rating points to give us the boost necessary to get there
Brandon Jones is the only 5-star with a known OV
But this brings up one flaw in the way I was looking at it. He uses Scout rankings exclusively while I usually look at the 247 composite.
Anyway, this is what I was asking -- which player(s) not already on our visit list could push us up into the top 10
