SignUp Now!Hopefully he realizes to flip to UTMore than likely. I have read elsewhere that JMad was being receptive to the Texas recruits that have been after him.
OB's Dunlap thinks Malclom Roach's (been a hard Texas commit for awhile) OV to USCe could be real
He points out how Roach decided to still take the trip even after Strong's in-home with him
Roach's dad is supposed to be going with him, and the dad has a long-standing good relationship with Haley (and thus Malcom has known Haley forever too)
Remember that is Muschamp now
Also, I think they are driving with the Taylors for this visit
From my perspective, it could be a depth chart issue as one of the few positions with depth we have is SSDE (along with RB and maybe CB)
Or, maybe they just want to take a trip?
Kinda funny that BU would offer Hudson's sister a partial track scholarship. They've got an excellent T&F program, too.My solution is Patrick to Texas and his sister to Baylor. With skype, email, and phone they can always be in touch. We get a top rated OL and Baylor gets a woman's track star. Everybody wins.
Excellent newsPer Jeff Howe 247 DCG cancelled his home visit with TCU coaches today. All signs point to Texas.
It is what it is though man, Might sound crazy but imo I rather a recruit stay in the big 12 and go to another school than any other conference..Big 12 is really bad and need every good recruit possible..looking at rankings, Iowa State, Kansas, kstate and West Virginia if not mistaken are at the back end of #50 class although we know rankings mean nothing but man that's crazyWas listening to the Louie B show with Ced as a guest. Louie said CS doesn't need a top 10 class to win big 12 and Ced agreed. Kinda pissed me off them talking shit about big 12.

I realize I am new around here, but I respectfully disagree. I think last years recruiting class was stellar by any definition. We landed a top 10 class and that is stellar. We got losses, but so did most programs. In one single class we got 2 pure freshmen OL starters which is almost unheard of....and they were not merely plug ins....they were very good by any standard. We got a future AA LB and several very good DB's.Last year at this time, everyone was hyped up. Then Murray said no, Mack went aggy and the recruiting class turned out to be decent, but nothing stellar. Then the grade risks fell out. Then Lampkin gave Coach Strong the finger. Then Cherry picked up and left. Overall, last year's recruiting class helped, the team still has gaping holes.
The ND game was a coaching disaster, especially on offense. The team bumbled through painful OOC loses. Once the team showed signs of promise against OU, the team was incapable of playing consistently. It was beyond frustrating.
This year needs to be about improvement in every aspect of the program, starting with translating the pre-NSD hype into a solid recruiting class. Get the team through spring workouts without significant injuries. Get all the recruits through the clearinghouse and on campus at the start of the first summer session. If we get to that point, it would be meaningful improvement.
I hope the team turns the corner this coming season, but first things first. It will be a promising sign to see Coach Strong and the staff carry the momentum through signing day. This is going to be a year of very limited patience for a large number of the faithful. For a number of reasons, I hope the next week goes well and that everyone keeps focused on all the work that needs done.
I'm not a fan of Charlie's style of having so many uncommitted recruits going into NSD. It's tough making the adjustment from decades of having signing classes wrapped up months in advance to having more empty clots that recruits going into NSD. Charlie needs a big week to get people to buy into to his recruiting style. Especially with Tom Herman breathing down his neck and Texas trailing both U of H and Tech in the composite rankings less than a week before NSD.

"However, when Sumlin, Chavis and the A&M coaches got word that McCulloch was attempting to sway a high-profile player or two to flip to Texas while on the Aggie campus last weekend, the in-house was never taking place. It was simply going to be a parting of ways at the school and the coaches that have recruited him and treated him well for nearly two years letting them know that they were aware of his actions."
"No, his offer wasn't pulled...I don't want to make it sound even in the slightest as if I'm trying to say that because McCulloch was a guy that the Aggies wanted from wire-to-wire. He just went with the school he had always loved growing up in the end, which is completely understandable."

I can see it being good news. AGs aren't even in the conversation and Shark decides to visit while Cuffee(practically a lock) and Jackson are on campus. I can almost hear shark and cuffee saying "man this has nothing on the ATX" all weekend long. He's taking a recruiting trip but he's the recruiter! Not good news at all. This is going to be a fight to the finish. He loves Chavis...
Were they implying the big 12 is that weak or that CS can take 3 stars and in 3 years make them 1st to 3rd round draft picks? Was listening to the Louie B show with Ced as a guest.
