When Jackson takes his visit to OU this weekend he will come down off that aggy visit high. 

It's why Texags thinks this recruitment is far from over. Liucci made predictions like night on where recruits would land and he picked A&M for Jackson, but essentially said it could go either way by NSD. 

We must feel good about either Fowler or Jackson, otherwise we would not have let the Lucky OV slip by

He is more of a project, but still, I smell something cooking for us at that position

Its pretty crazy - every one of our 4 big targets (Daniels, DCG, Elliot, Taylor) have been listed as 'In' by at least one of the big recruiting sites.  Here's hoping we've got 5 DT's committed by the end of day Feb 3rd.

That's my dream.

But still seems unlikely.  One of them will start worrying about PT at some point

But would be so great if it does happen.  That would be quite the coup by Strong & Co

I admit I was one of the people bitching about our DL recruiting not that long ago

Pointing out how we were "whiffing" on DLs and how it was gonna doom us.

Perhaps I was a tad premature, and a tad overly dramatic?

While I want a good haul of big bodies, too many could be a detriment. Want to make sure that we can continue to recruit at that position and not create a log jam. Word is that Fitz will probably end up there at some point, so possibly one more there. DT is a position that allows for a good rotation, specially in the B12, so you can keep them content. I think 3-4 should be the sweet spot.

Will UT take 5 DTs, 3 DEs (Roach, Fitz, and Jackson) and 1 Fox (Fowler)? Will that hurt us going after Marvin Wilson next year? Gotta think at least 2 DTs will Red shirt (Wilbon, Daniels) right?

To me if neither of them came straight out and said they were firmly committed and shutting it down after their visits to the schools they have been committed to they are seriously thinking about coming here. Or in Jacksons case just leaving in general either UT or OU

I see Jackson and Fowler as competing Foxes while Roach/Fitz are the traditional DEs

And, yes, I think we take 5 DTs if we can.  We have the schollie room.   (it will be like robbing the bank in the middle of the day if we pull it off)

And one surprise recruit.

That's 26 spots taken (including the mystery guy). Do they have room? Fowler, Hudson, Jackson, and Anderson are takes if they decide to come in. That would bring the class to 30. Is that possible? Even if you take out M. Jackson, that would be at 29. Oh no, I just went crossword.
