i'd seen on texags that they thought M. Jackson was pretty solid.  That stinks.

What are some thoughts on best and worst case final 247 team ranking?

Excellent detail and wordsmithig, DBROOK. Read like a real beat writer rushing to press and not worrin' about a thang.

Higdon says that Kelvin Lucky will not be in for an OV.  Sounds like Strong feels pretty good about who they're getting and isn't trying to bring in anymore contingency guys.

I think the final ranking will fall somewhere in between the best case and worst case.

And, to think, I don't even charge for this kind of earth-shattering insight  :)

Lots of CBs of DT Michael Dwumfour to Michigan

They also look good with DTs Rashan Gary and Boss Tagaloa.  Plus they already have DT Rashad Weaver committed

And they already have 24 commits

The almost inescapable conclusion is that they have conceded Elliott

Even though he has not made anything public
OK, so Big Blue did get DT Michael Dwumfour

Thats actually 4 of New Jersey's top 8 players.  With the #1 overall -- No. 1 Rashan Gary also from NJ and likely UMIch too.  What fertile ground NJ is for them (unlike the state of Texas, haha).  I would like to see Gary go ahead and announce already

But, anyway, still seems like Elliott must have told them behind the scenes.

Texags isn't confident on Mark Jackson at all. They said he's still committed but a strong flip possibility.

Jackson's post-aggy-visit were pretty definite-sounding

But we will see

Make what you will of his remarks --

About aggy--

“I’m pretty solid.  I wouldn’t be committed for nothing, honestly. I’m solid to the Aggies.  I had a great experience and got a better understanding of the system. I’m solid. I loved the small time feel in College Station.  It feels just like Cibolo, honestly.â€

------------------

About Texas and Austin --

“On my official visit, I didn’t get to check out the business school.   “I’m trying to major in business so I wanted check out the facilities and stuff like that.  I didn’t get to do that on my official so we took the time out stop through there since it’s on the way for me.  We stayed for an hour or two, talked to some of the professors out there and then headed out to College Station.â€

“They’re talking about doing really big things in Austin and a lot of people are trying to check it out.  It might be a great place. It’s the type of place you can’t really turn your nose down, you know?  Great education, great tradition and great football team.  It’s a lot to look into but we’ll see.â€

It's a toss up to me

When Jackson takes his visit to OU this weekend he will come down off that aggy visit high.

It's why Texags thinks this recruitment is far from over. Liucci made predictions last night on where recruits would land and he picked A&M for Jackson, but essentially said it could go either way by NSD.
