Scott just turned 17 at the beginning of his football season

well this is  gonna really anger alot of longhorn fans you committ on national television and then flip...i had a funny feeling this was gonna happen..he didnt look decisive at all when he announced his committment.now i wonder whats gonna happen with davis now?

There's always a guy like this at the end of the recruiting process. Someone that blows up and gets a bunch of offers at the end of the recruiting process. I'm not sure why but a bunch of schools have recently become really interested in him. Texas isn't the only school coming late to the party. 

I believe I know why, he didn't play football his junior year. Kevin played strictly basketball, so teams at the beginning of the season targeted other defensive linemen and some teams probably wish they had room to offer him now. Teams like UT who need another DL are now looking at Scott as someone worth offering.

He dominated this year after not playing his junior year and he's seventeen, he may be a good replacement for Louis Brown if we can get him.

One other possible DT is Ross Donnelly (6'2, 285-300) of Cy Fair

He attended our junior day - he has a good quick step for such a big guy

But he is current heavy Stanford lean - if not a commit by this morning

I think Tim Irvin would be a better player and have the chance to stand out more in the Big 12

Especially in our defense, at least as we ran it in 2014, where we have a key position tailored specifically to his skills

If this Auburn rumor is true, i think he is making a mistake.

He may be swallowed up in the SEC (although his punt return skills will shine anywhere)

I wonder if, when he looks back at age 40 or whatever, if he will agree?

Brossette basically lives next door to LSU, so it will be quite the coup for Strong if we pull this off
