2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

And why do we care ?

He's a 6'4 stud

Probably underrated (offers from ASU, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, BYU, Nebraska, ou, Notre Dame, Ohio State)

From Dallas

He's been on campus

We were interested enough in December to send our WR coach to see him

He has one open OV left

All that said, he is prolly going to ou - he is said to like their new OC - we will see

Horns still making offers to 2015s

First mentioned this guy a few pages back

Kevin Scott (6'5,255) of Calif

Been thinking we need another DT

Recently followed Coach Rumph

He already has OVs set the next 2 weekends (Miami then Ole Miss.  At Purdue this weekend) - we'll see how that goes

This late in the year, is Scott a real possibility?
There's always a guy like this at the end of the recruiting process. Someone that blows up and gets a bunch of offers at the end of the recruiting process. I'm not sure why but a bunch of schools have recently become really interested in him. Texas isn't the only school coming late to the party.

His offer list is San Diego State, Ole Miss, Kansas State, Fresno State, Massachusetts, Miami, New Mexico, UNLV, New Mexico State, Ohio and UTEP. And USC has put a greyshirt offer on the table

We are light DLs

Greg Biggins the "National Recruiting Analyst for FOX Sports/Scout.com" says Scott has "considerable upside."

From reading several other forums, I think we might hold onto Irvin. I won't be surprised if he flips to Auburn or stays with Texas to be honest. I was thinking this was a done deal to Auburn but apparently not.

Rumph was talking to him before Norvell was hired

But good deal either way

ps - just read Scott has only been playing football one year

SHA, did you play on that Daingerfield legendary team of 1983.?  Greatest Texas High School team ever, according

to some.

No, I played with some of those guys though. We were the last class 4A team to play at Daingerfield. The next year they won AAA regional, then the following year went all the way with the team you're referring to.

I was a QB. One night late in my senior season we're playing Gilmer. I'm looking left, throwing to my left and get hit right as I release the ball. Three fingers on my passing hand were broken on that play. So they put a sophomore in at QB to replace me. He would QB every game from that point until that state championship game in '83. Steve Edmond's uncle played on that team, too.

And yes, I do believe they were the best, ever.

I played and grew up in Sweeny--We thought we were pretty good team Until we played ya'll for the State championship in Waco on a Very cold night.W e got our butts beat . By the way Ken Dabbs was my HS coach in Sweeny many many years ago--I think it was his second coaching stop --we did win state w/him coaching as OC in 1967.

Beat Vernon that year in the playoffs in Texas Stadium. .... still pist about that game...

If there was ever a movie that described the Daingerfield 83 team it would be "The Untouchables" cuz the could not be touched at all..

Brossette woke up today feeling the love

He's been retweeting a few extreme Pro-Texas tweets

Here are a few examples-- (for those that dont do twitter, these are tweets sent to him that he liked enough to retweet them himself)
